Canworm Suspension – Fenbendazole 100 mg/ml Broad-Spectrum Dewormer for Pets

Canworm Suspension from Vetina Healthcare is a ready-to-dose fenbendazole oral suspension IP in a 30 ml bottle, with 100 mg of Fenbendazole IP in every millilitre. The flavoured syrupy base makes it far easier to give to dogs and cats than crushing tablets. As printed on the carton, it is a broad-spectrum de-wormer effective against tapeworm, hookworm, roundworm, whipworm and Giardia – the “one for all” coverage that makes a single product suitable for routine deworming rather than needing separate treatments for different parasites.

Directions for Use

• Shake well before use – the active settles between doses.

• Give by mouth, on its own or mixed into a small amount of food.
• Courses commonly run over consecutive days – complete the full course even if your pet seems better.
• Refer to the product insert for the dosing schedule.

Precautions

• For animal treatment only – not for human use, as stated on the pack.
• Prescription required. Not to be sold by retail without the prescription of a registered veterinary practitioner.
• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to fenbendazole.
• Avoid concurrent use with bromsalan flukicides.
• Do not treat sick or severely weakened animals until the underlying illness is addressed.
• Mild, temporary vomiting, drooling, loose stools or reduced appetite can occur – tell your vet if these persist.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from direct light.
• Keep the bottle tightly capped and upright.
• Keep away from children.
