Scabies Treatment Products Online
Scabies is a contagious skin infestation caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. It burrows into the skin and causes intense itching, especially at night, along with a pimple-like rash and thin burrow lines between the fingers, wrists, waist and groin. It spreads through prolonged skin contact and shared bedding or clothing, so household members are usually treated together.
Types of scabies treatment
- Permethrin cream and lotion: the most commonly used topical treatment, applied to the whole body from the neck down and washed off after several hours.
- Ivermectin tablets: an oral option that a doctor may prescribe, particularly for widespread infestation or when creams are hard to apply.
- Crotamiton lotion: a topical option that also helps ease itching.

Tips for effective treatment

- Wash bedding, towels and clothing in hot water and dry on high heat.
- Itching can continue for a few weeks after the mites are gone.
