Amlycure D.S. Pet Liquid – Aimil’s 32-Herb Liver Formula for Cats and Dogs

Amlycure D.S. Pet Liquid from Aimil is a polyherbal liver corrective and protective for cats and dogs of all breeds and ages, built on 32 vital herbs in a sugar-free mooli swaras (radish juice) base. Two herbs dominate the formula at 750 mg per 10 ml each: Bhringraj (Eclipta alba) and Bhuiamla (Phyllanthus amarus). Bhuiamla is the more interesting of the pair – it is the classical Ayurvedic hepatoprotective, and it is the one the pack’s claim about aflatoxins rests on. Aflatoxins are mould toxins that contaminate poorly stored grain and pet food and are directly toxic to liver cells; in a country where feed is often stored in humid conditions, aflatoxicosis is a real and under-recognised cause of liver damage in dogs. • Per 10 ml, aqueous extracts of: Bhringraj 750 mg, Bhuiamla 750 mg, Kasni 600 mg, Raktapunernava 450 mg, Guduchi 300 mg, Rohitaka 300 mg, Pittapapada 200 mg, Daruharidra 200 mg, Revand Chini 200 mg
• Haritaki, Chitrak and Vidanga 150 mg each; Sharpunkha 120 mg; Kachur, Patha, Nisoth, Kutaki, Kalmegh, Tulsi and Neem 100 mg each; Makoya 80 mg; Gokhru 70 mg; Amla, Yashtimadhu, Manjistha and Arni 50 mg each; Arjuna 35 mg; Biranjasif, Jhau, Kasondi and Saunf 20 mg each
• Base: Mooli Swaras (Raphanus sativus juice), sugar-free. Colour Ponceau 4R (CI 16255), mango flavour. Preservatives: benzoic acid, sodium benzoate, methyl- and propylparaben and their sodium salts. Contains sucralose 0.15%

Directions for Use

• Dogs – 5 ml to 10 ml twice a day
• Cats – 5 ml twice a day
• Or exactly as directed by your veterinarian
• Shake the bottle before use and measure the dose accurately
• Give it at about the same times each day for the period your veterinarian sets

• Liver disease in a pet needs a diagnosis. Jaundice, persistent vomiting, sudden weight loss or a swollen abdomen should be investigated by a vet, not treated at home
• The formula contains parabens, benzoates and the colour Ponceau 4R; tell your vet if your pet has reacted to preservatives or colours before
• Tell your veterinarian about every other medicine or supplement your pet is on
• Ask your vet before giving it to a pregnant or nursing animal
• Do not exceed the stated dose, and keep to the course your vet prescribes
