Dr. Roma’s RDC 5 Vomi Pet Pills – Homoeopathic Globules for Vomiting in Dogs and Cats

RDC 5 Vomi Pet from Dr. Roma’s Homeopathy is a homoeopathic veterinary preparation in pill form for dogs and cats, made from just two remedies: Arsenicum album 30 HPI and Ipecacuanha 30 HPI. Those two are the classical homoeopathic pairing for nausea and vomiting, and they are chosen for different pictures of it. Arsenicum album is the remedy associated with vomiting alongside diarrhoea and restlessness, typically after eating something spoiled – the dustbin raid, in a dog’s case. Ipecacuanha is the remedy for persistent nausea that is not relieved by vomiting, where the animal retches and continues to feel sick afterwards. Together they cover the two commonest presentations. Pills are given directly into the mouth or over a roti, 10 at a time. Please note the product name and its composition both point to vomiting; some listings elsewhere describe it as a urinary preparation, which does not match the pack. 30 g.

Key Features

  • Arsenicum album 30 HPI and Ipecacuanha 30 HPI – the classical homoeopathic nausea pair
  • Marked on the bottle RDC5 VOMI PET, with a cat and dog icon
  • Pills, so a dose can be tipped into the lid and given directly or over a roti
  • Easy to administer and gentle to give; long shelf life
  • 30 g from Dr. Roma’s Homeopathy, Anand, Gujarat

Composition

  • Arsenicum album 30 HPI
  • Ipecacuanha 30 HPI
  • In a homoeopathic globule base. As printed on the label

Uses & Benefits

  • Aimed at vomiting and nausea in dogs and cats
  • Arsenicum album covers vomiting with diarrhoea after eating something spoiled
  • Ipecacuanha covers persistent nausea that vomiting does not relieve
  • Pills are easy to give without restraining the animal
  • No known interactions with conventional veterinary medicines
  • Long shelf life and no refrigeration needed

Directions for Use

  • Give 10 pills at a time, tipped into the lid of the bottle – directly into the mouth or with a roti
  • 10 pills, 3 to 4 times a day until recovery
  • Keep 30 minutes between two doses
  • Keep a one-hour gap from any other medicine
  • Or as advised by your vet

Precautions

  • Repeated vomiting dehydrates a small animal fast. A pet that cannot keep water down, is lethargic, has blood in the vomit, or has a painful or distended abdomen needs a veterinarian the same day
  • Vomiting can mean a swallowed foreign body, poisoning, pancreatitis or kidney disease. None of those will respond to a home remedy, and delaying assessment makes them worse
  • Keep the lid tightly closed after use and store away from strong-smelling articles
  • Use under medical supervision, as stated on the pack
  • Read the label carefully before use
  • Keep out of reach of children

Storage

  • Store in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight
  • Keep the lid tightly closed and away from strong-smelling substances
  • Keep out of reach of children
