Sirdalud 2 mg Tablet – Tizanidine 2 mg by Novartis
Sirdalud 2 mg from Novartis India contains Tizanidine Hydrochloride IP 2.288 mg, equivalent to 2.0 mg of tizanidine base, in an uncoated tablet. Tizanidine treats muscle spasticity, and it does so from the nervous system rather than the muscle. It is an alpha-2 agonist acting in the spinal cord, damping the reflex signals that keep a muscle locked in contraction after a stroke, spinal injury or in multiple sclerosis. Because it works centrally and briefly, it is often used to cover the times of day when spasm is worst rather than taken around the clock. Sirdalud is the original Novartis brand. Strip of 6 tablets. Schedule H prescription medicine.
