Ibucon Plus Suspension is a children’s fever and pain syrup marketed by Concept Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Each 5ml contains ibuprofen 100mg and paracetamol 162.5mg. Ibuprofen reduces pain, swelling and fever by limiting prostaglandin production. Paracetamol acts in the brain to lower temperature and dull pain. The two together help control fever that does not ease with a single medicine. It is used for fever with colds, flu and viral infections in kids. It can also soothe teething pain, earache, sore throat and muscle aches. The liquid form allows easy and flexible dosing for young children.
