Voveran AQ Injection – Diclofenac Sodium 75 mg/ml Aqueous

Voveran AQ Injection contains Diclofenac Sodium IP in water for injection, supplied as a 1 ml ampoule for intramuscular use. The AQ marks it as the aqueous formulation, and that is the point of the product. Conventional diclofenac injection is dissolved in propylene glycol and benzyl alcohol, and injecting it hurts – a well-known sting that patients remember. The aqueous version replaces those solvents with water, and is markedly less painful at the injection site while delivering the same drug. Diclofenac itself blocks the COX enzymes that manufacture prostaglandins, the chemicals that create pain, swelling and fever at the site of injury. Single 1 ml ampoule. Prescription medicine, to be administered by a healthcare professional.
