Hexafung 1% Cream is a topical antifungal from Amwill Healthcare containing Ciclopirox Olamine 1% w/w. It is used for common fungal infections of the skin including ringworm of the body, jock itch, athlete’s foot, candidal rashes in skin folds and tinea versicolor. The cream helps reduce itching, redness and peeling and works steadily to clear the infection when used for the full course.

How It Works

Ciclopirox Olamine is a hydroxypyridone antifungal. It binds iron and other metal ions that fungal enzymes depend on, which interrupts energy production, nutrient transport and the removal of toxic peroxides inside the fungal cell. This makes it fungicidal against dermatophytes and highly active against Candida and Malassezia yeasts. It also has mild anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that help irritated skin heal.

How to Use

• Clean and dry the affected skin
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area and a small surrounding margin twice daily
• Continue for 2 to 4 weeks or as directed by your doctor
• Wash hands after application
