How It Works

Ciclopirox Olamine works by chelating iron and other polyvalent metal ions within fungal cells. This inhibits enzymes essential for respiration and for protecting the cell from oxidative damage, so the fungus stops growing and dies. It covers dermatophytes, Candida and Malassezia and also has mild anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects that help the skin settle.
