Sumoflam Tablet is a combination pain-relief medicine manufactured and marketed by Alkem Laboratories Ltd, formulated with Nimesulide BP 100mg, Paracetamol IP 325mg and Serratiopeptidase (Enteric-coated granules) equivalent to enzyme activity of 30,000 units in each film-coated tablet. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), Paracetamol is a widely used pain reliever and fever reducer, and Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down abnormal proteins that build up at the site of injury or inflammation. Together, these three components block the release of chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever and swelling, while also helping to reduce inflammation and support faster healing at the affected site. This makes Sumoflam Tablet useful for relieving pain linked to injury, swelling and inflammatory conditions, helping individuals move more comfortably and recover faster. Sumoflam Tablet should be taken with or after food, as this helps lower the chance of an upset stomach that can occur with NSAID use. The dose and duration depend on the condition being treated and should always follow the doctor’s advice; the tablet should not be used for longer than prescribed. Sumoflam Tablet is a Schedule H prescription drug and, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare guidance, is not to be used in children below 12 years of age. Common effects that may occur include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, heartburn and a temporary rise in liver enzymes; patients should let their doctor know if these persist or worsen. The medicine may also cause dizziness and drowsiness, so driving or tasks requiring mental focus should be avoided until its effects are known, and alcohol should be avoided as it can add to drowsiness and increase the risk of liver strain.

Directions for Use
