MoZA 5 Tablet is a prescription digestive medicine from Intas Pharmaceuticals used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and related stomach complaints. Each film-coated tablet contains Mosapride Citrate 5 mg, a prokinetic agent that helps food and liquid move through the stomach and intestines more efficiently. By speeding up gastric emptying, it helps relieve heartburn, acid reflux, indigestion, bloating, early fullness and nausea after meals. Doctors may also prescribe it for functional dyspepsia and certain cases of irritable bowel syndrome and constipation. Each strip contains 10 tablets.

How It Works

Mosapride is a selective serotonin 5-HT4 receptor agonist. It acts on nerves in the wall of the gut and increases the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger that strengthens the natural muscle contractions of the stomach and intestines. This improves the movement of food out of the stomach, reduces the time acid and food sit in the stomach, and lowers the chance of stomach contents flowing back into the food pipe, easing reflux and indigestion.

How to Use
