Melaglow Prime Depigmenting Cream – 20 gm

Melaglow Prime is a depigmenting cream built on six actives that attack pigmentation from different angles – which is what melasma and stubborn dark spots usually require, since a single agent rarely shifts them. Micronized azelaic acid and alpha arbutin inhibit tyrosinase, the enzyme that makes melanin; niacinamide blocks the transfer of pigment into skin cells; kojic dipalmitate adds a stable, non-irritating brightening action; and glycolic acid exfoliates the already-pigmented surface layer away. Shea butter offsets the dryness those actives can cause. Notably steroid-free – unlike many fairness creams. 20 gm.

Key Features

  • Six complementary actives targeting pigmentation at different stages
  • Steroid-free – no skin-thinning risk, unlike many fairness creams
  • Paraben-free, sulphate-free and non-comedogenic
  • Shea butter offsets the dryness that acids and brighteners cause
  • Dermatologist-recommended formula – 20 gm, for all skin types

Key Ingredients

  • Micronized Azelaic Acid – inhibits tyrosinase; particularly useful in melasma and acne pigmentation
  • Alpha Arbutin – gentle, non-irritating tyrosinase inhibitor
  • Niacinamide – blocks pigment transfer into skin cells and supports the barrier
  • Kojic Dipalmitate – stable, oil-soluble form of kojic acid for brightening
  • Glycolic Acid – exfoliates pigmented surface cells
  • Shea Butter – moisturises and cushions against active-induced dryness

Refer to the pack label for the complete ingredient list.

Uses & Benefits

  • Targets melasma and stubborn facial pigmentation
  • Fades dark spots and post-acne marks
  • Evens out uneven skin tone
  • Reduces melanin production while exfoliating existing pigment
  • Smooths skin texture with regular use
  • Steroid-free, so suitable for longer courses under dermatologist guidance

Directions for Use

  • Apply a thin layer to cleansed, dry skin over the pigmented area
  • Use at night unless your dermatologist advises otherwise
  • Sunscreen every morning is essential – without it, pigmentation returns faster than the cream can fade it
  • Introduce gradually – alternate nights at first if your skin is sensitive
  • Allow 8–12 weeks of consistent use before judging results; pigmentation fades slowly

Precautions

  • For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips and nostrils
  • Patch test before first use – the formula contains acids and multiple actives
  • Increases sun sensitivity – daily broad-spectrum sunscreen is not optional with this cream
  • Do not combine with other exfoliating acids or retinoids on the same night without advice
  • Do not apply to broken, sunburnt or actively inflamed skin
  • Discontinue if persistent stinging, redness or peeling develops; consult a dermatologist if pigmentation worsens

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Keep the cap tightly closed after each use
  • Keep out of reach of children
