Levozet M Tablet is a combination allergy medicine made by Cadila Pharmaceuticals. Each film coated tablet contains levocetirizine 5mg and montelukast 10mg. Levocetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks histamine, the chemical behind sneezing, a runny nose and watery eyes. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, which cause swelling and inflammation in the nose and airways. Together they help relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including a blocked or runny nose, sneezing, itching and watery eyes. The tablet should be swallowed whole with or without food, at the dose and for the duration your doctor advises. It may cause drowsiness or dizziness, so take care while driving and avoid alcohol. Tell your doctor about any other medicines you use. Report any mood changes, sleep problems or low mood to your doctor at once. Store it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and children. This is a prescription medicine and must be taken only as directed by a registered doctor.
