Exafib 10 Tablet – Rivaroxaban 10 mg by Emcure
Exafib 10 Tablet from Emcure Pharmaceuticals contains Rivaroxaban 10 mg, a direct oral anticoagulant that blocks Factor Xa in the clotting cascade. The name reflects its use in atrial fibrillation, where an irregular heartbeat lets blood pool and clot in the heart – clots that can travel to the brain and cause a stroke. Strip of 14 tablets. Prescription medicine.

- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush or break it

- Never stop without your doctor’s instruction – stopping early sharply raises the risk of a clot or stroke
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember on the same day; never double up
Precautions
- Bleeding is the main risk. Seek urgent medical care for bleeding that will not stop, blood in urine or stools, black tarry stools, coughing or vomiting blood, or unusual bruising
- Report any head injury immediately, even a minor one – anticoagulants make bleeding inside the skull far more dangerous
- Tell every doctor, dentist and surgeon that you take this before any procedure, extraction or injection
- Avoid NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, diclofenac and aspirin unless your doctor approves – they compound the bleeding risk
- Unsafe in liver disease; use with caution in severe kidney disease. Not established as safe in pregnancy, and avoid while breastfeeding
- Tell your doctor about all other medicines, especially antifungals, HIV medicines, rifampicin and carbamazepine, which alter rivaroxaban levels
