Eltromag 50 Tablet is a prescription medicine made by Cipla Ltd. Each film-coated tablet contains eltrombopag olamine equal to 50mg of eltrombopag. Eltrombopag is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist. It acts on the bone marrow and signals it to make more platelets. Platelets are the blood cells that help form clots and stop bleeding. Doctors use it for adults and children with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) when other treatments have not worked well. It is also used to raise platelets in people with chronic hepatitis C so they can start or continue antiviral therapy. In some cases it is prescribed for severe aplastic anaemia. Regular blood tests and liver function checks are needed during treatment. It should be taken only under the guidance of a haematologist or specialist doctor.

How to Use
