How It Works

Paracetamol works mainly in the brain and spinal cord, where it reduces the production of prostaglandins, the chemical messengers that raise body temperature and make nerve endings more sensitive to pain. By acting on the temperature-control centre, it helps the body return to a normal temperature through sweating and widening of skin blood vessels. It does not irritate the stomach the way many anti-inflammatory painkillers can, which is why it is widely recommended as a first choice for fever and pain in infants.

How to Use

• Shake the bottle well before each use
• Use only the dropper supplied and measure the dose exactly as advised by your doctor
• Leave at least 4 to 6 hours between doses and do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours
• Give the drops directly into the mouth or mix with a small amount of milk or water
