C-Win Lotion is a topical antifungal from Sun Pharma containing Ciclopirox Olamine 0.77% w/w. The fluid lotion form makes it easy to cover larger body areas and hairy skin, where creams can feel heavy. It is prescribed for tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis (tinea) versicolor, helping to relieve itching and clear the scaly or discoloured patches these infections cause.

How It Works

Ciclopirox is a synthetic hydroxypyridone antifungal. It chelates trivalent metal ions such as iron, blocking metal-dependent enzymes that fungi use to break down peroxides and produce energy. This weakens the fungal cell membrane and stops the fungus from growing and multiplying. Because its mechanism differs from azole antifungals, resistance is uncommon, and it acts on dermatophytes, Candida yeasts and Malassezia alike.

How to Use
