Arcalion Tablet – Sulbutiamine 200 mg by Serdia (Servier)
Arcalion from Serdia Pharmaceuticals, under licence from Les Laboratoires Servier of France, contains Sulbutiamine 200 mg – prescribed for asthenia, the persistent fatigue and lack of drive that lingers after illness or accompanies a run-down state. Sulbutiamine is a synthetic derivative of vitamin B1 (thiamine), engineered to solve a specific problem: ordinary thiamine crosses the blood-brain barrier poorly. Two thiamine molecules joined by a lipid bridge cross far more readily, raising thiamine levels within the brain itself rather than merely in the blood. Strip of 10 tablets. Prescription medicine.
