Precautions

• Strictly for topical application. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, and other internal membranes.
• To prevent re-infestation, all family members and close contacts should be treated simultaneously.
• Wash all bedding, clothing, and towels used in the last 48 hours in hot water (at least 60°C).

How to Use

• Ensure the skin is clean, cool, and dry. Do not apply the lotion immediately after a hot bath or shower.
• Apply Pernil 5% Lotion to the entire body from the neck down to the soles of the feet.
• Thoroughly coat skin folds, the groin, underarms, and under the fingernails where mites often hide.
• Leave the lotion on the skin for 8 to 14 hours (usually overnight). If you wash your hands during this time, reapply the lotion to them.
• After the treatment period, wash the lotion off completely using lukewarm water and a mild cleanser.
• Itching may persist for 1–2 weeks after treatment due to the body’s reaction to dead mites; this is normal and usually does not indicate treatment failure.
