Lotel LS Gel is a prescription eye gel that contains Loteprednol Etabonate, a corticosteroid used to treat inflammation of the eye. It is commonly prescribed to ease pain, redness and swelling after eye surgery. The steroid works by blocking prostaglandins, the chemical messengers that drive inflammation. The gel texture stays on the surface of the eye longer than ordinary drops, which helps the medicine act for longer between doses. Loteprednol is a “soft” steroid that the eye breaks down quickly, so it is generally considered gentler on eye pressure than older steroids. It is supplied in a 5 ml tube-style pack with a fine nozzle. It must only be used on the advice of an eye doctor, who will set the dose and the number of days. Regular eye-pressure checks are advised if it is used for a long time.

How to Use
- Wash your hands and tilt your head back
- Pull the lower eyelid down and place one drop of gel in the pocket, then close the eye gently
- Do not touch the nozzle to the eye and remove contact lenses before use
