Lenalid 10mg Capsule is a prescription anticancer medicine made by Natco Pharma. Each capsule contains 10mg of Lenalidomide and the pack holds 30 capsules. It is mainly used to treat multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow. Doctors also use it for some forms of myelodysplastic syndromes and mantle cell lymphoma. Lenalidomide belongs to a group of medicines called immunomodulators. It helps the immune system attack abnormal cells and cuts off the blood supply that tumours need to grow. It also stops cancer cells from dividing and pushes them to die off. The capsule is taken by mouth, often in cycles together with a steroid such as dexamethasone.
