Dibeta GB 5mg/500mg Tablet is a fixed-dose combination medicine from the anti-diabetic class, used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. It combines Glyburide (also known as Glibenclamide), a sulfonylurea that stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, with Metformin Hydrochloride, which lowers glucose production in the liver, delays glucose absorption from the intestines, and increases the bodys sensitivity to insulin. Together, this combination helps manage blood sugar levels more effectively than either medicine alone.
