Hivet Calfcure – Homoeopathic General Health Support for Young Animals
Hivet Calfcure from Gurudev Veterinaries is a homoeopathic veterinary medicine formulated for the general health and immunity of young animals – calves, puppies and poultry – and the label carries dose instructions for all three. The choice of remedies tells you what it is aiming at. Aconite, Belladonna and Ferrum phosphoricum are the classical trio for the very first stage of an acute febrile illness, before it has declared itself; Cinchona officinalis (China) is the remedy for weakness after fluid loss; Arsenicum album and Nux vomica cover digestive upset; and Cina is the traditional remedy associated with worm-related restlessness in the young. It is essentially a first-days-of-life and first-signs-of-trouble formula for animals at the age when they are most fragile. For animal use only. 30 ml.

Uses & Benefits
- Supports the general health of calves, puppies and other young animals
- Helps support immunity in young stock at their most vulnerable age
- Aimed at weakness and digestive upset in the young
- Formulated specifically for animals rather than adapted from a human product
- Can be given over feed, in milk or in drinking water depending on the species
- Practical to dose across a poultry flock through the water line
Directions for Use
- Calf – 30 drops, 3 to 4 times a day, in an atta ka pera or over a roti
- Puppies – 20 drops, 3 times a day, in a roti or in milk
- Poultry – 30 ml mixed into every 180 litres of drinking water
- Give it at about the same times each day for the period your veterinarian advises
- Read the label carefully before use
Precautions
- A sick newborn animal deteriorates fast. Scouring, refusal to suck, collapse or a distended abdomen in a calf or puppy needs a veterinarian the same day – dehydration, not the infection, is usually what kills
- Colostrum in the first hours of life does more for a calf’s immunity than any medicine. Nothing given later substitutes for it
- For animal use only. Not for human use, and keep out of reach of children
- For poultry, mix it thoroughly through the water line and prepare fresh medicated water daily
- Tell your veterinarian about any other medicine the animal is receiving
- Use under veterinary supervision, particularly in a flock or herd
Storage
- Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight
- Keep the cap tightly closed and the bottle upright
- Keep out of reach of children
