Directions for Use

• Twist open the device and place one capsule (rotacap/respicap) in the chamber – never swallow the capsule
• Close the device and press the buttons to pierce the capsule
• Breathe out fully away from the device, then seal your lips round the mouthpiece and inhale quickly and deeply
• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly through the nose
• Check the capsule is empty; repeat if powder remains. Rinse your mouth with water afterwards

Precautions

• This is a device only – Respicaps are bought separately and prescribed by your doctor
• Use only Zydus Respicaps – other capsule brands may not pierce or empty correctly
• Never swallow the capsules – they are for inhalation through this device only
• Rinse your mouth after every use, especially with steroid medicines
• Keep the device dry – never wash it and never use it while wet
• Avoid physical damage; replace if cracked or if the piercing pins bend
