Zoxan-D Eye/Ear Drops is a combination medicine made by FDC Ltd. Each millilitre contains ciprofloxacin 0.3% w/v and dexamethasone 0.1% w/v. Ciprofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that stops bacteria from copying their DNA. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that calms redness, swelling and itching. Together they treat the infection while easing the inflammation it causes. Doctors prescribe it for bacterial eye conditions such as conjunctivitis and blepharitis. It is also used for outer and middle ear infections where swelling is present. The formula includes Lubifilm, which helps keep the eye surface comfortable during treatment. The sterile solution comes in a plastic dropper bottle with a secure cap. Use it only for the course your doctor advises, as long steroid use needs medical supervision.

How to Use

• Wash your hands before and after each use
• Tilt the head back and put the advised drops in the eye or ear
• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface
