Uriliser Oral Solution by Walter Bushnell is a sugar free urine alkaliser containing potassium citrate monohydrate and citric acid monohydrate in a sorbitol base with a pleasant raspberry flavour. It is used to help prevent uric acid and cystine kidney stones, reduce the risk of recurrent stone formation and relieve discomfort and burning during urination linked with urinary tract infections.

How It Works

Potassium citrate is converted into bicarbonate in the body, which raises the pH of the urine and makes it less acidic. Alkaline urine helps keep uric acid and cystine dissolved so stones are less likely to form, and the extra citrate binds calcium in the urine to further lower stone risk. Less acidic urine also soothes the irritated urinary tract and eases burning.
