Pegred-C Powder from Dr Reddy’s Laboratories is a polyethylene glycol and electrolyte oral solution used as a bowel-cleansing preparation. Each pack combines polyethylene glycol with potassium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride, so the bowel is flushed clean while fluid and mineral balance is maintained. It is commonly advised before a colonoscopy, endoscopy or bowel surgery, and the flavoured sachets make the solution easier to drink. A pack contains 138.4 gm of powder to be dissolved in water and taken only as directed by your doctor.
