Ozempic 1 mg Injection – Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes Management
Ozempic 1 mg Injection is a prescription injectable medicine containing Semaglutide 1 mg per dose. It is used alongside an appropriate diet and regular physical activity to improve blood-sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Semaglutide belongs to a group of medicines known as glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, also called GLP-1 receptor agonists. It helps increase insulin release when blood glucose is elevated, reduces excess glucagon secretion, and slows gastric emptying. The 1 mg strength is generally used after treatment with lower Ozempic doses. Depending on the marketed presentation, a 3 mL pre-filled pen may contain four or eight fixed doses of 1 mg. Confirm the exact number of doses and needles from the supplied pack.
