Nurokind OD Injection is a prescription vitamin B12 injection from Mankind Pharma used to treat vitamin B12 deficiency. Each 1 ml ampoule contains Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) 1500 mcg, the active form of vitamin B12 that the body can use directly. Vitamin B12 is vital for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation and the health of the nervous system. Low levels can lead to anaemia, tiredness, weakness, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet. The injection is given into a muscle or vein and is often prescribed for diabetic nerve damage, peripheral neuropathy and deficiency caused by poor absorption from food.

Methylcobalamin is a coenzyme form of vitamin B12 that takes part directly in key chemical reactions in the body. It helps produce healthy red blood cells in the bone marrow and supports the synthesis of myelin, the protective layer that surrounds nerve fibres.
