Nuroday PFS Injection is a prescription vitamin B12 injection from Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories used to treat vitamin B12 deficiency and the problems it causes. Each 1 ml prefilled syringe (PFS) contains Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin) 1500 mcg, the active form of vitamin B12 that the body can use directly. It is commonly prescribed for peripheral neuropathy, including diabetic neuropathy, and helps relieve tingling, numbness, burning and weakness in the hands and feet. It also treats megaloblastic anaemia and the fatigue linked with low B12 levels. The ready-to-use prefilled syringe needs no drawing up from a vial, making each dose quick, accurate and hygienic. It can be given into a muscle, a vein or under the skin. It is manufactured by Virchow Biotech Private Limited and marketed by Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited.

How It Works

Methylcobalamin is essential for the healthy working of nerves and blood cells. It helps build and repair the myelin sheath, the protective coating around nerve fibres, and supports the regeneration of damaged nerves. It also plays a key role in making DNA and forming healthy red blood cells in the bone marrow. By quickly restoring vitamin B12 levels, the injection improves nerve function, eases neuropathy symptoms and corrects anaemia.
