Micogel Cream by Cipla contains Miconazole Nitrate 2% w/w, an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections of the skin such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm and other fungal skin conditions. It works by stopping the growth of the fungi responsible for the infection, helping relieve itching, redness and discomfort. The cream comes in a convenient 15 gm tube and is meant for external use only. For best results it should be applied regularly for the full duration advised by your doctor, even after the symptoms improve, so that the infection does not return.

Key Ingredients

• Miconazole Nitrate IP (2% w/w): An imidazole antifungal that interferes with ergosterol production, weakening and killing fungal cells.
• Chlorocresol IP (0.1% w/w): A preservative that keeps the cream stable.

How to Use

• For external use only. Follow the dose and duration advised by your doctor.
• Clean and dry the affected area before applying.
• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin and gently rub it in.
• Wash your hands after application unless your hands are the affected area.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and open wounds. If contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water.
• Keep the area clean and dry, and continue the course even if symptoms improve.
