Kriam Pharma Luliconazole Cream contains Luliconazole IP 1% w/w, a modern azole antifungal used for fungal infections of the skin. It treats tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea pedis (athlete’s foot) and candidal skin infections. It is manufactured by Babu Ram Om Prakash and marketed by SRK Puremed LLP, and comes in 10 gm, 20 gm and 30 gm tubes. Luliconazole is known for once-daily use and short treatment courses.

How It Works

Luliconazole blocks the fungal enzyme lanosterol demethylase, which fungi need to make ergosterol for their cell membrane. Without ergosterol the membrane becomes leaky and the fungus cannot grow or survive. The drug stays in the outer skin layer for a long time, which is why it works with once-daily application and helps clear itching, redness and scaling.

How to Use
