How It Works
Ketoconazole is an azole antifungal that blocks the production of ergosterol, a building block of the fungal cell membrane, so the yeast cannot survive. Zinc Pyrithione disrupts fungal membrane transport, has antibacterial action and normalises the turnover of scalp cells. Together they attack dandruff-causing yeast in two different ways and reduce the flaking and itching it causes.
