Ixarola 20mg Tablet is an anticoagulant, also called a blood thinner, made by Zydus Cadila. Each film coated tablet contains rivaroxaban 20mg, which belongs to the group of factor Xa inhibitors. It works by blocking a clotting factor in the blood, so it helps stop harmful clots from forming. Doctors prescribe it to lower the risk of stroke in people with an irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation. It is also used to treat and prevent clots in the veins of the legs and lungs. The tablet is usually taken once a day with the main meal, at the same time each day. The dose and the length of treatment depend on the condition, so it must be taken exactly as advised by a doctor. Tell the doctor about bleeding problems, kidney or liver disease and any other medicines before starting. Keep the strip in a cool, dry place below 30 degrees, away from light, moisture and children.
