Inderal F 40mg/10mg Tablet SR
Inderal F Tablet SR is a combination medicine from Abbott used to prevent migraine. Each sustained release tablet has 40 mg of propranolol and 10 mg of flunarizine. Propranolol is a beta blocker that steadies the heart rate and the blood vessels linked to headache. Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker that improves blood flow in the brain and calms nerve signals. Together they reduce how often migraine attacks come and how severe they feel. The SR design releases the medicine slowly through the day. A strip holds 10 tablets. It is usually taken once a day, with or without food, at the same time each day. Common effects include weight gain, tiredness, drowsiness and a slow heart rate. This is a prescription medicine and should be taken only as your doctor directs.
