How It Works

Ibandronic Acid is a bisphosphonate. It slows the activity of osteoclasts, the cells that break down bone, so that bone density is preserved and the bones become stronger. Calcium, taken from coral grains, provides the raw material the body needs to build and maintain healthy bone. Vitamin D3 helps the body absorb calcium effectively and also supports the muscles, which can help prevent falls. Together, the three work to strengthen bones and lower the risk of fractures.

How to Use

• Take the medicine in the dose and for the duration advised by your doctor.
• Take the Ibandronic Acid tablet on Day 1 on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning, with a full glass of plain water, and stay upright afterwards as your doctor advises.
• Take one Calcium and Vitamin D3 tablet daily from Day 2 to Day 31, at a fixed time each day.
• Do not stop the treatment until your doctor tells you to.
