Grandem 1 mg Tablet – Granisetron 1 mg by Aristo
Grandem 1 mg Tablet from Aristo Pharmaceuticals contains Granisetron 1 mg, a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy damage cells in the gut lining, which release large amounts of serotonin; that serotonin triggers the vomiting reflex through 5-HT3 receptors. Granisetron blocks those receptors, so the signal never reaches the vomiting centre. It is one of the most effective options for the severe nausea of cancer treatment, and is also used after surgery. Strip of 10 tablets. Prescription medicine.
