Forcan Infusion is an intravenous antifungal infusion made by Cipla. Each 100 ml bottle contains fluconazole 200mg. Fluconazole works by stopping the growth of the fungus that causes the infection. It is used in hospitals for serious fungal infections, including infections of the bloodstream, the lining of the brain and spinal cord, and the mouth and throat in patients who cannot take tablets. The infusion is given slowly into a vein by a trained healthcare professional. The dose and the number of days are decided by the doctor according to the infection and kidney function.
