Foracort 400 Synchrobreathe Inhaler
Foracort 400 Synchrobreathe Inhaler is a prescription combination inhaler marketed by Cipla that contains Formoterol 6mcg and Budesonide 400mcg per metered dose. Formoterol is a long acting bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles around the airways, while Budesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces swelling and irritation inside the lungs. Together they help keep the airways open and calm over the long term. Doctors prescribe this inhaler for regular maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, not for sudden attacks. The Synchrobreathe design is a breath actuated device, so the dose is released as you inhale, which makes it easier to coordinate pressing and breathing in. Each canister provides 120 metered doses, so it lasts for several weeks of routine use. It is a Schedule H medicine and should be used only as advised by your doctor, who will set the number of puffs for you. Always keep a separate rescue inhaler with you for sudden symptoms.
