Eyemist Eye Drops is a high-potency ophthalmic intervention containing Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC 0.3% w/v), a specialized visco-elastic polymer specifically engineered for the clinical management of dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca). Utilizing a unique “Muco-Adhesive” delivery system, this solution works by mimicking the natural mucin layer of the tear film. By stabilizing the pre-corneal tear film and increasing the tear breakup time (TBUT), Eyemist effectively reduces the friction between the eyelid and the cornea. Precautions

• Consult with an eye care specialist if you experience persistent eye pain, changes in vision, or continued redness and irritation.
• Remove soft contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting to prevent preservative absorption.
• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface, including the eyes or hands, as this can lead to bacterial contamination.
• A brief period of blurred vision may occur immediately after instillation; wait for clarity before driving or operating machinery.
• Discontinue use immediately if you experience an allergic reaction, such as swelling, severe itching, or worsening redness.
• If using multiple ophthalmic medications, wait at least 5 to 10 minutes between the application of different products.

How to Use

• Wash your hands thoroughly. Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Hold the dropper vertically over the eye and instill 1 to 2 drops into the conjunctival sac as needed.
• Close the eye gently for 1 minute and apply light pressure to the inner corner (tear duct) to maximize localized retention.
• Typically used 3 to 4 times daily, or as frequently as required to manage symptoms of ocular dryness.
• Replace the cap tightly after every use. Do not wash the dropper tip with water or soap.
• Keep the bottle in a cool, dry place (below 25°C) away from direct sunlight. Discard the solution 30 days after first opening.
