Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children
Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children is a rectal laxative manufactured by Bliss GVS Pharma Ltd and marketed by Sanofi, formulated with Bisacodyl IP 5mg for fast relief from constipation in children. Unlike oral laxatives, this suppository is inserted directly into the rectum, where it dissolves and acts locally to stimulate the muscles of the intestine, increasing bowel movement and helping pass stool more easily. Because it works directly at the site of action, Dulcoflex is valued for providing relatively quick relief compared to oral medicines, and is also sometimes used to clear the bowel before certain medical examinations or procedures as advised by a physician. Each pack contains individually wrapped, torpedo-shaped suppositories designed for easy, comfortable insertion. Dulcoflex is intended for short-term, occasional use in children experiencing constipation and should always be used under medical guidance, with adequate fluid and fibre intake encouraged alongside its use for the best results.
