Blatta Orientalis LM – Homoeopathic Dilution by SBL
Blatta Orientalis LM from SBL is a homoeopathic dilution prepared from the Oriental cockroach (Blatta orientalis, Hindi: Tilchatta), supplied across the LM (50 millesimal) potency series. It is one of the more specifically respiratory remedies in the homoeopathic materia medica, traditionally considered for bronchial asthma, bronchitis and phthisis (tuberculosis) where the picture includes rattling breath sounds, shortness of breath and an excessive, often pus-like mucus production. It has a traditional association with symptoms that worsen in damp, rainy weather, which practitioners use as part of the case-matching that guides homoeopathic prescribing. As with any LM remedy, dosing frequency and potency step are individualised by the prescriber rather than fixed. 20 g liquid dilution.
