Betzee Cream
Betzee Cream is a highly effective topical corticosteroid containing Betamethasone Valerate, a mid-strength steroid designed to manage a wide array of inflammatory skin conditions. It is specifically formulated to provide rapid relief from the redness, swelling, and persistent itching associated with disorders such as eczema, various forms of dermatitis, and psoriasis. By suppressing the release of chemicals that trigger the inflammatory response in the skin, Betzee Cream helps to calm “flared-up” areas and restore the skin’s protective barrier. Its smooth, non-greasy cream base is ideal for application on moist or weeping skin surfaces, ensuring the medication is absorbed efficiently to provide targeted relief.

- Purified Water
Precautions
- This cream is intended for short-term symptomatic relief. Avoid use for more than 7 consecutive days unless specifically directed by your doctor.
- Prolonged or excessive use, especially on thin-skinned areas like the face or skin folds, can lead to skin atrophy (thinning) and stretch marks.
- Do not apply the cream to the eyelids, the corners of the mouth, or near the eyes, as this can increase the risk of glaucoma or cataracts.
- Do not use Betzee Cream on skin that is already infected (fungal, viral, or bacterial) unless you are also using an appropriate antimicrobial treatment.
- Do not cover the treated area with bandages or airtight dressings unless instructed by a physician, as this significantly increases steroid absorption.
- Consult your healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as steroids should be used sparingly during these times.
How to Use
- Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the affected skin area with mild, soap-free cleanser. Pat the skin dry.
- Apply a small, pea-sized amount of Betzee Cream. Use only enough to cover the affected area with a very thin film.
- Gently rub the cream into the skin until it is evenly distributed and absorbed.
- Wash your hands immediately after application, unless your hands are the area being treated.
- Typically applied 1 to 2 times daily. Follow your physician’s instructions regarding the exact frequency for your condition.
- Store the tube in a cool, dry place (below 25°C) and keep the cap tightly closed to prevent the cream from drying out.
