The BD Ultra-Fine Pen Needle with EasyFlow Technology and PentaPoint Comfort is a short 4 mm, 32 gauge needle designed to make daily insulin injections more comfortable. Made in Ireland by Becton Dickinson, one of the world’s leading makers of diabetes injection products, this pack contains five sterile, single-use needles that fit most commonly used insulin pens.

How It Works

The 4 mm length is enough to deliver insulin into the fatty tissue just under the skin for most adults and children, while lowering the risk of injecting into muscle. The five-bevel PentaPoint tip creates a flatter, thinner surface that helps the needle enter the skin more easily, and the EasyFlow thin-wall design widens the inner channel so insulin flows with less thumb pressure.

How to Use

• Wash your hands and wipe the rubber seal of the insulin pen
• Peel the paper tab off a new needle and screw or push it straight onto the pen
• Remove the outer and inner needle caps, prime the pen as instructed and dial your dose
• Inject at 90 degrees into clean skin and hold for the time advised by your doctor
• Replace the outer cap, unscrew the needle and dispose of it in a sharps container
