Avamys Nasal Spray by GSK contains fluticasone furoate, a corticosteroid used to treat the symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis. It relieves sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose and nasal congestion, and can also help itchy, watery eyes linked to nasal allergies. The side-actuated device is easy to use and delivers a fine, gentle mist with each press, so most people need just one dose a day.

How It Works

Fluticasone furoate reduces inflammation in the lining of the nose. It lowers the release of histamine and other chemicals that trigger swelling, mucus and itching when you breathe in allergens such as pollen, dust mites or pet hair. Because it acts locally in the nose, very little reaches the rest of the body. It works best with daily use and full effect may take a few days.

How to Use

• Shake well and prime the device before first use
• Blow your nose gently and tilt your head forward
• Place the nozzle in one nostril and press the button while breathing in
