Warf 1mg Tablet
Warf 1mg Tablet is an anticoagulant, also called a blood thinner, made by Cipla. Each tablet contains warfarin sodium 1mg, which belongs to the group of vitamin K antagonists. It works by reducing the action of vitamin K, which the body needs to form blood clots. Doctors prescribe it to prevent and treat clots in the veins of the legs and lungs. It is also used to lower the risk of clots in people with an irregular heartbeat or an artificial heart valve. The dose is different for every person, so it is adjusted by the doctor using regular blood tests called INR. The tablet is usually taken once a day at the same time each evening. Tell the doctor about any bleeding, diet changes and all other medicines before starting. Keep the strip in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. This is a prescription medicine, so it should be used only on medical advice.
