Brufen 600 Tablet is a pain relief tablet marketed by Abbott. Each tablet contains ibuprofen 600mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Ibuprofen lowers the body’s production of prostaglandins, the chemicals that cause pain, swelling and fever. The 600mg strength is meant for moderate pain where lower doses are not enough. It is used for the pain and stiffness of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It also helps with back pain, sprains, dental pain and period pain. It can lower fever that comes with infections. Taking it with food helps protect the stomach. It should be used at the lowest dose that controls symptoms. Each strip contains 15 tablets.
