Hydrocortisone is a mild corticosteroid that reduces swelling, redness and itching. Doctors prescribe it mainly for bacterial infections of the outer ear, also known as otitis externa. Calming the inflammation helps ease pain and the blocked feeling in the ear. The drops come in a 5ml glass vial with a separate dropper for accurate dosing. How to Use

• Clean and dry the outer ear gently before use
• Lie with the affected ear facing up and put in the advised drops
