Ciplox Eye/Ear Drops is an antibiotic solution made by Cipla Ltd. Each millilitre contains ciprofloxacin 0.3% w/v, a fluoroquinolone that acts against a wide range of bacteria. The same bottle can be used in the eye or in the ear, as advised by a doctor. In the eye it is prescribed for problems such as bacterial conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers. In the ear it is used for outer ear infections like otitis externa. Ciprofloxacin works by blocking enzymes bacteria need to copy their DNA, so they cannot multiply. This helps ease redness, discharge, pain and irritation caused by the infection. The sterile solution comes in a 10ml plastic dropper bottle with a protective cap. It contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative to keep the solution clean after opening. Use it for the full course your doctor sets, even if symptoms improve early.

How to Use
