Kriam Pharma Luliconazole 1% Lotion contains Luliconazole IP 1% w/v in a light, easy-spread lotion base. It is used for fungal skin infections such as tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea pedis (athlete’s foot) and candidal infections. The lotion form is especially convenient for large or hairy areas and skin folds, where a cream can feel heavy or sticky.

How It Works

Luliconazole is an azole antifungal that blocks lanosterol demethylase, the enzyme fungi use to make ergosterol for their cell membranes. Without ergosterol the membrane breaks down and the fungus stops growing. It builds up in the outer layer of skin and stays there, allowing once-daily application to clear itching, redness and scaling.
